USAT Level 1 Coach

Scott began competing in triathlons while in physical therapy school at Duke University in 2007. Since that time he has competed in numerous triathlon, adventure, and road races, including Ironman Chattanooga 2015. As a physical therapist, Scott has had the opportunity to work with a broad spectrum of athletes ranging from local youth and age group athletes to NCAA division I & II and professional athletes.

He has successfully completed a credentialed sports residency program through Proaxis/ATI Therapy and upper extremity fellowship where he had the opportunity to serve as one of the physical therapists for the Kansas City Royals in 2012. Scott has a life-long passion for sports that began with playing as many sports as he could while growing up. He now focuses on endurance sports with the goal of competing in an event in all fifty states.

“I started coaching to partner with athletes in correcting their movement patterns so they feel better racing. Better movement equals better performance.”
